Still haven't checked out Disney+? The number of smart TVs you can use to stream Disney's popular service (without additional hardware) keeps growing.

Disney+ has proven to be a popular option with the streaming service already having attracted more than 28 million subscribers in just a few months. However, if you are new to streaming Disney shows and movies, and specifically looking to watch through a smart TV, then here's the full list of compatible TVs brands.

Disney+'s biggest selling point is its content considering it brings together a variety of shows, movies and franchises, including Disney classics, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and National Geographic. However, as this is still a service in its infancy, device support is going to be one of its biggest limitations. That said, Disney has clearly prepared well for the service's launch as it did arrive with fairly wide device support, and since then the compatible list has just continued to grow.

Most recently, Vizio confirmed it was the latest TV-maker to add support for the popular streaming service. The announcement explained that an over-the-air update has now started rolling out to compatible devices, and once applied will add a standalone Disney+ app to SmartCast TVs. What's more, the update (and app) is not only coming to new Vizio TVs, but older ones as well. If you don't currently own a Vizo TV, then there are many other smart TV brands you can access the service with.

• Android TV, including Sharp AQUOS and Sony Bravia.
• Element (running Roku)
• Hisense (running Roku)

• LG (2016 models and newer running WebOS 3.0 and up).
• Magnavox (running Roku)
• Philips (running Roku)
• RCA (running Roku)
• Samsung (2016 models and newer running Tizen).
• Sanyo (running Roku)
• Sharp (running Roku)
• TCL (running Roku)
• Vizio (2016 models and newer running SmartCast)
• Westinghouse (running Roku)

Disney+ Device Support Another Major Selling Point

When considering a new service, device support is often one of the most overlooked areas by subscribers and that can prove to be a problem later on. A big portion of streaming is having the ability to watch content on any device, at any time. However, consumers can be limited with some services if the devices they currently use are not supported. That has yet to prove to be the case with Disney+ as while there are still some devices waiting for their support to arrive, the compatibility list is already more than impressive, considering the age of the service.

Besides the smart TVs mentioned above, Disney+ subscribers can also access stream directly through a web browser, via Android or iOS phones and tablets, and Amazon Fire tablets. This is also in addition to many living room devices that are not smart TVs, such as set-top boxes and sticks running on either Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, or tvOS. Last but not least, Disney+ support is also available for Apple AirPlay, Chromebooks, Chromecast, as well as both the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One games consoles.
